Push notifications are useful to inform your participants about any updates about your event! They help you to:
- To send push notifications to targeted or not participants, to keep them informed about events that can occur
- Target groups for sending (speakers, exhibitors, etc...)
- Redirect the participant to a specific page when clicking on the notification. It can be linked to an exhibitor page, Session page, Event home or an external link.
1) Organizer notifications
You can create push notifications by yourself via the organizer area, to inform people about what happens during your event, highlight sponsors/sessions, and much more...
You can pre-plan the notification by selecting a future sending date and time or it can be sent out immediately for any last minute updates/ changes to your event.
See: How to send notifications?
See: Define the addressees of your push notifications?
2) Transactional notifications (automatic)
Transactional push notifications are those that you can't modify, and are automatically sent to your participants. This was created to help you save time.
See the list of automatic push notifications: Which notifications are activated by default?
