Editing the icons to implement multi-content
Updated over a week ago

Do you want to share exclusive content with your VIP guests? Only premium exhibitors can see part of your content? Is one part of your program reserved for certain participants?

Swapcard offers the possibility to display different types of content and/or to differentiate the display of content according to the categories of participants. Here is how to create multi-content.

How to set up multi-content?

If, for the same icon, you wish to display different content according to the groups, you simply have to create 2 (or more) buttons of the same type (People, Exhibitors, Schedule) and manage the visibility and data parameters following the indications above. Let's take one example per button type.

Example: "People" icon

I have 2 categories of attendees that I would like to distinguish: "Attendees" and "VIP Attendees". Everyone can see the Visitors but only VIPs can see each other.

  1. I created 2 "People" icons on the home page that I named "Attendees" and "VIP Attendees".

  2. In the parameters of the "VIP Attendees" icon, in the "Visibility" tab I choose "VIP Attendees" only, in the "Data" tab as well.

  3. In the parameters of the "Attendees" icon, I do not modify anything in the "Visibility" tab, but in the "Data" tab I select "Attendees" only.

Example: "Exhibitors" icon

My exhibitors are divided into 2 categories: "Diamond Sponsors" and "Gold Sponsors". Everybody can see the Gold Sponsors but only VIPs can see the Diamond Sponsors.

  1. When I create my exhibitors in my event, in the "Type" field, I select either "Diamond Sponsors" or "Gold Sponsors".

  2. I created 2 "Exhibitors" icons that I named "Diamond Sponsors" and "Gold Sponsors."

  3. I click on "Edit" next to the "Gold Sponsors" icon, and in the "Data" tab > "Add condition", I select "Gold Sponsors".

  4. I click on "Edit" next to the "Diamond Sponsors" icon, and in the "Data" tab > "Add condition", I select "Diamond Sponsors".

Example: "Schedule" icon

My sessions are held in 2 different locations: "Zone A" and "Zone B". The sessions held in Zone A are open to everyone while the sessions held in Zone B are reserved for Diamond Exhibitors only.

  1. When I create the sessions of my program, I enter "Zone A" or "Zone B" in the "Location" field.

  2. I created 2 "Schedule" icons that I named "Zone A" and "Zone B".

  3. In the parameters of the "Zone A" icon, I do not modify anything in the "Visibility" tab while in the "Data" tab I add a restriction on the "Location" and select "Zone A".

  4. In the parameters of the "Zone B" icon, in the tab "Visibility" I choose "Diamond Sponsors," and in the "Data" tab I add a restriction on the "Location" and select "Zone B".
