Invisual provides seamless integration across the event app's Web, iOS, and Android applications. This platform ensures an easy setup and smooth navigation experience for event attendees.
ℹ️ Before adding an Invisual floor plan to your event, ensure that the Interactive Floor Plan add-on is included in your contract. If it isn't, contact the provider for details on pricing and setup.
How to add an Invisual Floor Plan
With this update, organizers can simply go to the Swapcard Studio to set up their map view in just a few clicks.
Log into your Studio account.
Navigate to the Event Builder menu.
Click on Create Page.
Select Floor plan.
Define the button's name, color, and background, which will redirect users to your floor plan, as for any page you add into your event menu.
Choose your provider (Invisual) and enter the required information to link your floor plan to the event:
For Invisual: Paste the map URL.
A fully functional Invisual map view is created inside Swapcard, ready to use without additional setup.
NB: As for any pages of your event, you are able to define which group can see or not your floor plan, in the Visibility tab when editing the Floor Map.
For attendees, this means a seamless experience in the Event App. They can open the event’s Invisual map just like any other view, helping them easily navigate the show floor and locate exhibitors.
From Exhibitor Profile to Map: From an exhibitor’s profile in Swapcard, attendees can jump directly to the exhibitor’s booth on the Invisual map using a dedicated "See on map" button.
From Map to Profile: From the Invisual map, clicking on a booth lets attendees open the exhibitor’s Swapcard profile instantly.
How to set up redirection (Exhibitors/Booths)
Invisual maps are automatically integrated with your exhibitor data, enabling the two-way navigation features.
Redirecting from Exhibitors/Booths
Redirecting from the exhibitor profile to the map helps participants easily find where a booth is located. A "See on map" button will be available on the exhibitor details page, opening the map directly to the correct location.
Ensure Location Consistency:
The location assigned to the exhibitor in Swapcard must match exactly with the name of the Point of Interest (POI) or booth name in the Invisual map system. The names must be identical for the map redirection to work properly.
Example: If the Invisual map shows the location as "Booth 123", the location field in Swapcard must also say "Booth 123."
Once set up properly, participants can click directly from the exhibitor page to easily find the booth's location on the map.
The native integration of Invisual maps into Swapcard offers strategic benefits that significantly enhance your event. You can integrate a fully functional map simply by pasting a URL, dramatically reducing setup time and complexity and the intuitive two-way navigation ensures attendees can quickly find booths and sessions, minimizing friction and maximizing time spent engaging with content and exhibitors.
