When sending emails for your events in Swapcard, it's important to know how the platform handles email sending domains based on your plan. This helps ensure your emails look professional and avoid common issues with deliverability.
Best Practice Tip: For the best email deliverability and consistent branding, we recommend using the custom sending domain option available with the White-label add-on. This gives you full control over your email domain and adds legitimacy to your marketing efforts.
How Email Sending Domains Work by Plan
If you're not using your own custom domain, Swapcard automatically assigns an email address format according to your plan:
Free Plan: [event-slug]@swapcardfree.swpcd-send.com
Starter Plan: [event-slug]@swapcardstarter.swpcd-send.com
Enterprise & Professional Plans: [event-slug]@swapcardmail.swpcd-send.com
The "event-slug" is generated based on your event and creates a unique email address for each campaign. You can edit the event slug in the Event Builder under General Information.
Email Server IP Addresses
For emails sent under plans other than the Free plan, Swapcard uses dedicated email server IP addresses to ensure reliable and secure delivery:
161.38.206.33
141.193.33.237
161.38.205.104
185.250.238.18
These IP addresses are dedicated to ensuring your emails are delivered reliably and securely. If your audience reports not receiving your emails, you can share these IP addresses and ask them to whitelist them.
Note: Transactional emails, such as password resets and notifications, are sent from noreply@swapcard.com
by default. However, if you have a custom sending domain set up, these emails will also be sent from your domain.
Conclusion
Understanding how Swapcard handles email sending domains based on your plan ensures your event emails are delivered effectively. By using a custom domain and managing email server IPs, you can improve your email deliverability and enhance your event’s professional image.
