About Stripe

Stripe is a secured online payment processing and credit card processing platform for businesses. Millions of companies of all sizes use Stripe online and in person to accept payments.

How we integrate with Stripe

In order to set up paid tickets for your event, you will need to connect your Stripe account. As for now, it is the only payment processor available on the platform.

To do so, log into your Studio account and go into your Organization settings.

At the bottom of the page "Settings & members" you'll have the option to connect your Stripe account.

You can also access this page from the Registration section of your event, if you select "Paid" when creating or editing a ticket.


How to unlink my Stripe account?

If you have decided to stop selling paid ticket, or if you need to link another Stripe account, you can unlink your current Stripe account from your Swapcard Organization.

Access to your Organization in Studio, and go at the bottom of the page "Settings & members". Then click on "Unlink account".


What happens if my Stripe account is restricted?

Stripe employs automated systems that initiate account validation procedures contingent on transaction frequency and the specifics yet to be confirmed.

These validation procedures are integral to Stripe's "Know Your Customer" duties, mandated by regulatory bodies to curb the misuse of financial networks and safeguard both consumers and enterprises. Further details are available here.

Payout and Payments can be blocked if your Stripe account is not fully enabled.
