Discover how to efficiently manage and edit exhibitor details to enhance their profiles and improve the event experience. This guide provides a comprehensive overview of what organizers and exhibitor members can edit, how to modify roles and permissions, and steps to add external URLs to exhibitor locations. Empower your team with the tools to keep exhibitor information accurate and up-to-date, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for all event participants.

Who can edit an exhibitor's details ?

The organizer

In your organizer area, you can add or edit the following information:

  • Name of the exhibitor

  • Logo of the exhibitor

  • Background Image

  • Header Image

  • Video ID

  • Description

  • Location

  • Topics

  • Type

  • Website

  • Social networks

If you don't have all this information, know that you can add exhibitor members who will then be able to access and modify their exhibitor page. You can now modify the rights of the exhibitor to edit their information. This option is available for either a specific group of exhibitors (exhibitor type/Sponsorship Level) or for individual exhibitors.

Exhibitor members

Once they are related to their company, the members have therefore access to their own exhibitor area. They can then modify certain pieces of information displayed on their exhibitor page, but not all of them:

  • Name of the exhibitor

  • Logo of the exhibitor

  • Description

  • Header Image

  • Video Header

  • Advertising Background

  • Image Booth

  • Address

  • Website

  • Email

  • Phone numbers

  • Social Networks

  • Items

  • Team Members

How to add a URL to an existing location from an Exhibitor details page:

To enable you to give the best experience to your exhibitors and attendees and making it easy for them to find their way during an event, you can add external URLs to existing exhibitors' booths (this is especially useful if you're not using MapsPeople or ExpoFP for your event map)

This means that when attendees click on the designated location, they will have the option to open a webview directly from the app and access the map on an external website.

  1. From the Studio go to "Content" and then the "Exhibitors" section.

  2. Select an existing Exhibitor and go to the Details tab. Under "Location" select a location or create a new one and click on the edit icon.

  3. From the side panel under the "Location details" tab, simply paste the URL in the "Location URL" section. The URL will be automatically saved on the location detail page as well.

  4. Once the external URL is added, attendees can click on the location on the event app from an exhibitor's detail page to open the map in a webview on both mobile and web.
