Setting up an on-demand session
Updated over a week ago

On-demand is one of the Session formats that we offer on the platform. Once a Session has aired, oftentimes as the Organizer, you want to offer your Attendees the chance to re-watch the Sessions they missed, or would like to watch again.

You can create Sessions in the Studio that are categorized as On-demand. You can also opt to change an existing Session to On-demand after it has originally aired.

The On-demand option allows for video-based Sessions to be available at all times with no video availability start and end date needed. However, you can opt to add them if you’d like, to make the content exclusive.

To create an On-demand session follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Event data tab and select Sessions

  2. Click the Add Sessions button on the right-hand side of the page

  3. Select Create manually, and then name the session. Set a start and end date if needed (optional). Click the Create button

  4. Under Session format set the Session to On-demand

To change the format of a session to on-demand, follow these steps :

  1. Go to the Event data tab and select Sessions

  2. Select the preferred Session from the list

  3. Under Session format, set the Session to the required format

In the On-demand format, the registration button is changed to a bookmark button. They will then appear under the My event tab (name subject to the Organizer) under My saved videos.

On-demand sessions will be displayed chronologically by default, even when dates are not displayed.
