Creating an event ticket page
Updated over a week ago

Pages are the gates to your Community and Event. With them, you can manage how to display your content. As there are several types of Pages in Swapcard, here you will learn about the event ticket page.

The event ticket page will give participants a way to display one or several tickets barcodes or QR codes on their phones to access the Event while onsite.

Participants will find their own personal barcode or QR code after clicking/tapping on the button.

As the Organizer, you can use the following code types: QR Code, Barcode C39, Barcode C128, Barcode UPC-A (EAN-13), PDF.

When setting up the page you can also decide whether only the most recent ticket will be displayed, or all of them.

If you decide to go with the All tickets option, you can sort them by From newest to oldest, From oldest to newest, Alphabetically (A-Z), or According to ticket order.

Please note that for the page to be visible to Participants, as the Organizer, you will first need to have the Participants' tickets/badges generated. This can be done through a third-party registration system that handles badge printing or with our platform under the ***Badge templates. The code gets generated at registration and is pushed to Swapcard.

You can set up the name, a Button icon or Button background image (depending on the Display mode you choose), color, and a Page background image.

If you choose Grid as Display mode, you would have a Page background image.
On the contrary, if you choose List as Display mode, you would have the Icon option.

You can decide which Group(s) of Participants can see the Event ticket page and its content.

Participants will be able to then click on the Button from the homepage, and access their event ticket:

In the Data tab, you can change the code type to be used for Event ticket(s). Additionally, you can decide whether to display the most recent ticket or all tickets. For the latter, you can sort them out alphabetically, from oldest to newest, from newest to oldest, or according to ticket order.
